These coffee bags (aka coffee pouches) are available in two styles: one features a heat seal top for filling, a reusable zipper seal for the customer, and a one way valve that allows your products to stay fresh, longer. The other option is a standard zip seal pouch that packs flat but stands up when filled.
Once your customer tears off the initial tamper evident seal, they'll reveal the inner - resealable zipper closure. This easy to use closure makes it much easier to keep coffee fresh, and doesn't involve rolling the top of the bag down like with tin tie bags. The seal spans the entire width of the bag.
Four Seam - Block Bottom Construction
Instead of being constructed from a single piece of paper, these bags use multiple panels, sealed together with 4 main seams.
The Flat Bottom allows the bags stand up on their own; store easily and look great on a shelf.
Heat Sealed seams help with longer shelf life
Block Bottom Coffee Bags visibly stand out compared to traditional coffee bags
Gas Release Valve
Inside these coffee bags, there's a small plastic one way valve. Freshly roasted coffee will continue to release Carbon Dioxide (CO2) after is has finished roasting, and a completely sealed bag could inflate, and even explode if there was no pressure release. This valve not only lets those gasses escape, but ALSO prevents Oxygen from entering the coffee bag, which would decrease shelf life and cause the coffee in the bags to go stale.
Tamper Evident Heat Seal
The top of these resealable coffee bags feature a top loading opening that can be heat sealed (with a heat sealer) to provide a durable and secure seal. Once sealed, the top of the bag acts as a tamper-evident seal with tear notches so that the customer can tear the top off, revealing the resealable zipper.
